Who will United bring in this summer?

The likely departure of Cristiano Ronaldo is sure to leave a huge gap in the Manchester United team, but that gap can always be filled with the £80m in exchange for Ronaldo. Who will the Red Devils bring in this summer?
Frank Ribery, Bayern Munich: Well, here is a quality winger that may just be able to fill Ronaldo’s boots, but he definitely won’t come cheap. Ribery has an impressive goal record for a midfielder, and is one of the best player in the Bundesliga. Equipped with pace and vision he could be the ideal target. But, then again the German side want nothing less than £60m.
Antonio Valencia, Wigan: Terrific player who United have had their eye on for a very long time. Both Real Madrid and Man Utd were interested, but as Madrid have focused their attention on Ronaldo, it leaves Man Utd to snap up the Ecuadorian for a fee reported of about £16m. Good deal.
Karim Benzema, Lyon: The forward isn’t exactly a replacement for Ronaldo, but with the funds that United may have, Benzema could be one of their summer signings. Has all the right assets to flourish, what with an terrific goalscoring record and ability to terrorise the opposition defence. But the Premier League may prove a different, more difficult kind of football for him.
Carlos Tevez: His future here is doubtful, but the fans will not want to see the back of him. Did not play as much as he wanted to last year, but with Ronaldo’s move to Madrid, he could just find his most successful year in a United shirt.
Who Else?: Players such as Sergio Aguero (Athletico Madrid), Aaron Lennon (Tottenham), David Silva (Valencia) have all been linked to the Premier League Champions. There were even reports that Sameul Eto (Barcelona) is a target, while Kyle Naughton of Sheffield United is another potential transfer.

Manchester United News 24/7

I firmly believe that we should see how Giuseppe Rossi plays in the Confederations Cup, and then sign him back. After the Ronaldo issue, we should get this firm favourite back.
Yoann Gourcuff of AC Milan, won the league in France while on loan to Bordeaux, and was voted best player in France.
nopes gourcuff still too young and inexperience
hey sir alex, pls do samething very soon cose all my family from 34 people are man utd fan if we cen kip tevez and sine aguoer or benzeman it will we gret one of them have to be! but in tottal we most sine 3 to 4 play ares! we trust u sir but just do some thing
Ribery,Benzema and David Villa are the right choice and after all there are brilliant young talents that are ready to join the senior team.
MU must retire the seniors Gary N,Giggs and Scholes and also sell off John Oshea the weakest player all season to make way for the younger players.
i’m a united fun but i can say thx to ronaldo but also i can say to ronaldo do pi to pussy con man utd is united even stronger with fergin we will be he is the daddy don’t forget u ronni! come united we are and we will continue to be the best team in the world!

come on fergi we most sine atliste 2 playarse in next7 day for us to brithe bit more nicly
i think in the 100 million that man utd have to spend:
50M on ribery
50M on Benzema
yh i think thats good but 50M on benzema???maybe 30 on him and 20 on valencia!!
i like it..may ferguson see that!!
I think Sir Alex Ferguson will be wise because he is the best manager in the world and i think he will buy Ribery, Benzema and Maybe Robben but this is opinon.
NO ANTONIO VALENCIA PLEASE!!!!!
Antonio Valencia is a good player, bet not good enough to play for United, especially considering to replace Ronaldo…
United should go for a REAL WORLD CLASS winger like Ribery. Up front, as Ronaldo who’s a top scorer in the last 2 seasons left, they should sign a striker who can score 25 goals plus a season like Benzema.
ribery, benzema, toure, de rossi and vucinic please ferie
i believe we shud sign sergio aguero. He’s young already a proven goalscorer and is going to get better. I think he could be the best striker in the world 1day. Don’t sign Ribery i don’t think he wud be anywhere as good as Ronaldo. Look at the likes of David Silva or even a English talent such as Ashley Young. He can take free kicks, cross, dribble and has pace.
i hope that you will take the right decision i want you to have an eye with sanchez and the ironical distroyable player karim benzema
alex is a good manager but after lossing a good player in the winger ribery could be better but i wanted to considered a skillful play LUCAS PODOLSKI
First buy should be a winger, and Silva should be a priority, he would cost around £25M may be less, Valencia is a good backup as well, but not at the current price being asked by wigan.
As for Benzema, the sooner SAF bids the better, if madrid let go of nistelrooy and huntelaar, then they would go for him as well, and am sure zidane would influence the frenchman, just like he’s already doing for ribery to join them. News of Villa as well being linked with a £45M move to OT, but i wonder if he’ll agree to come. Yaya Touré could also be on the bidding list, he’s currently unsettled at Barça and United could make a move for him, we need to strengthen the mid, and a bid on Johnson for right back would be interesting as well.
One thing 99% sure, Tevez will not come back to United, coz he’s more interested in City’s propositions.
Yeh I agree. Both Valencia and Silva will be my first choice if we buy a winger. I don’t think Benzema is ideal, as the French Ligue is far too different compared to the Premier League. If you had to go for a forward, I’d say Sergio Aguero.
Villa looks set for Madrid, while Yaya Toure, in my view is, I wouldn’t say overrated, but he isn’t anything special as some people believe.
Glen Johnson, on the other hand, should be United’s no.1 priority.
you’v always said you wished would have a alot of comments in one post hey it came true:P
I think Valencia is a good choice, I think Nani will prove alot wrong next season!
I would love to see villa, but cant see that happening, Ribery yes! absolute talent
Most shocking is Torres would be happy to see him, but I dont want Berba to flop next season, alot depends on him!
But to replace RONALDO fergie will bye another unknown player just like how replaced beckham
But no matter what we will sign a big player no matter what!
BENZEMA N SILVA too
but so far the most likley is Valencia
can already start erase ribery
can already start erase ribery out of the list, read that he told his agent he will either go to r.madrid or nowhere.
i trust sir alex who he want to sign ” i hope he get
sergio aguero !!
I believe that sir Alex will do a good player transfer. I guess Sir Alex will bring young talented player as ussual.
I don’t know exactly who.
Fernando Torres and Fabregas would be great!!
Iam a manchester united fan,i believe sir Alex F
will cook up his mine to fine perfect replacement for the big gap letf by Ronaldo.probabely Fank Riberry before things fall apart
