September Player Of The Month: Rio Ferdinand
Rio has been absolutely outstanding this year and has been named manutd24‘s September player of the month.
He has been immaculate at the back and his tackling has been inch perfect this month. He has been named Man of the Match twice and so he deserves it. He has been serving United since 2002 and each year at the club has made him a better player. He has created a superb centre back pairing with Serbian Nemanja Vidic. Even when he had to partner youngster Jonny Evans he still plays at his best no matter who he partners. Both matches against Villareal and Chelsea, Rio has looked really comfortable.
